Biography
Meet Danny Baldursson, an international, award-winning singersongwriter hailing from Klaksvik, Faroe Islands. With a unique blend of electronic/folk/pop Danny has captivated audiences with his emotive and personal lyrics, raw and powerful voice, and dynamic stage presence.
Danny began his music career by performing at local
Summerfestival and quickly gained a reputation as a talented musician. In 2016 he released his first single ‘Sunnukvøld í Mai'(Sunday night in may)which received critical acclaim and solidified him as a rising star in the Faroese music scene. The single won him several awards at Faroese Music Awards in 2017
which resulted in winning “band of the year” and “song of the year”
He entered the Germany Songwriting Award in 2019 as a solo artist with his song “Holy” which then gave him the oppurtunity to go to California to perform his songs. His live performances have been praised for his
energy and emotional intensity
Danny has gone on to develop his own unique personal genre, and musical style, managing to merge personality into each song that he writes and produces. Danny is a true musician, and his live shows are not to be missed.
